A Pittsburgh-born astronaut, Mike Fincke, shared his experience of a medical event that led to the early return of NASA's Crew-11 from the International Space Station. On January 7th, while aboard the station, Fincke encountered a health issue that demanded immediate attention. His crewmates' swift response and the guidance of NASA flight surgeons were instrumental in stabilizing his condition.
Fincke expressed his gratitude for the crew's professionalism and dedication, highlighting the importance of their coordinated efforts. The mission, spanning five and a half months, concluded with a successful splashdown off the coast of San Diego on January 15th.
