First up, Letitia Sim continued her record-breaking streak, adding another SEA Games record to her collection. This time, she dominated the 200 breaststroke, finishing with a time of 2:27.37, a full four seconds ahead of her competitors. While this time is off her national record of 2:24.15, it was more than enough to secure a decisive victory.

An interesting point to note is the silver medalist, 13-year-old Pimchanok Chinveeraphan, who clocked an impressive 2:31.50.

Next, the freestyle events saw two more records fall to Singaporean women. Amanda Lim, at 32 years old, shaved 0.01 seconds off the previous record in the splash-and-dash, finishing with a time of 25.03. The previous record holder, Ting Wen Quah, placed fourth in this event.

And finally, Gan Ching Hwee broke the 200 free meet record during the 4x200 free relay, clocking in at 1:59.10. Although Singapore's relay team ultimately finished fourth, her performance was a standout moment. The host nation, Thailand, took first place in the relay with a time of 8:10.10, thanks to the combined efforts of Jinjutha Pholjamjumrus, Maria Nedelko, Kamonchanok Kwanmuang, and Napatsawan Jaritkla.

On the men's side, Singapore's relay team took the top spot with a time of 3:16.65. Mikkel Lee (48.25) and Zheng Wen Quah (48.70) were the only swimmers to break the 49-second mark.

In the individual events, two men defended their titles but couldn't quite match their previous meet records. Vietnam's Thanh Bao Pham won the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:12.81, while Singapore's Tzen Wei Teong took the 50 butterfly in 23.24. Their respective records stand at 2:11.45 and 23.04.
